Migraine free 11 days after quitting coffee

Post Content

I drink a lot of coffee and I’ve quit it before with no big effects on headaches except that I could use it to kill a migraine effectively when not addicted. Had migraine all December and January- late Jan I decided to try quitting again. It was a few weeks of bad headaches while weaning off. Then bam- no headaches for the last 11 days. I haven’t had that in years. I don’t have too much hope it will last but enjoying it now. Been months since I had such a long headache free run. Worth a try. But was really hard. I was even drinking coffee before bed to avoid withdrawal headache in morning. I do wonder if it’s a bit like meditation overuse headache but by caffeine. Sad about coffee though.
