my thumb has been numb for three days.

hi everyone, i hope i’m in the right sub for this and i’d appreciate any advice you could give. i’m 18f and i haven’t had any feeling in my right thumb for three days now. it started off as a tingly / static feeling that wouldn’t go away (similar to the feeling when your hand falls asleep) and now it feels like i’m touching somebody else’s finger. it is completely numb to the touch except for the occasional pain flares. the rest of the hand is fine. i’ve tried ice, heat, and hand stretches, but to no avail. like all of us have at some point, i fell into a deep webmd rabbit hole and now i’m fearing early signs of carpal tunnel. i know it’s rare for someone my age, but i’ve been a barista for the past few years now which means i’m using my hands 24/7 and i’m worried that that could’ve been a trigger? does anyone know what this could be? has this happened to anyone else before? sorry if i sound ignorant or stupid.. lol.
