What revelations in therapy made losing weight easier for you?

It's commented all the time in here that seeing a therapist will help rectify bad eating habits. I feel like any time I see CICO in a thread, I'll see this piece of advice as well. For anyone with this experience, what specifically happened in your therapy session(s) that made you progress? To be clear I definitely believe it, but therapy has been ineffective so far in treating the other parts of my life that I struggle with, like ADHD and some traumas growing up (mostly unrelated to my weight). After some pretty wack matchups with therapists, I finally found one that I like and intend to get deeper into the issues that I'm facing even if I don't see the resolution; maybe one day it'll click. But anyway, I'd love to hear some real examples of what pushed the needle for others.
