Burnt out? Lack of consistency suddenly... advice??

Post Content

Hi all, For the past almost 4 months I have been very consistent with the gym, and MUCH better with consistency in my diet. I've noticed my stomach is flatter/less bloated than it has been in YEARS, and I def see a difference in my glutes. Idk if it's stress from school, clincals, wedding planning, my period starting, etc. but this past 1-1.5 weeks I've been BINGING. I haven't changed a thing with my diet, cals, or macros. I was VERY content with the foods I was eating as they are tasty, and, since I'm autistic, I loved having the same few foods everyday. I think after I started to binge, I started to feel less good which in turn made me break my gym consistency for the first time in these almost 4 months. I went only twice in a week instead of 4, stopped tracking my steps/started to forget my watch to track steps, and stopped walking between class buildings and instead started to drive (it was frigid however, so this is definitely partially the reason to this one). I feel like I'm back in that cycle of: binge --> feel like crap --> lay around all day bc I'm tired and feel like crap --> repeat I know I got out of this cycle when I knew I was getting proposed to, and it kicked my butt into gear about reshaping my body and becoming healthier for my future family we make. So I know I can do it again since that is still my goal, but I am so exhausted from non-stop running around for clinicals, studying, homework, classes, dress shopping, wedding planning, etc. I don't really have down time and I think I'm burnt out. I've been needing more sleep even when not going to the gym as much. I also started that whole "bedtime procrastination" thing again because I have no time to myself. So I just stay up hella late to get a bit of down time, which makes me even more tired in the next day. The gym usually is a stress relief for me, so now that it's something I'm going "ugh, I'm so exhausted I don't even want to" is an awful feeling. Any advice on getting back into the gym 4x a week and consistency again with eating?
