21 years old, should i freeze my eggs?

21F, my mother just learned she is peri-menopausal. she got a hysterectomy (kept ovaries) at age 36 for abnormal cells which her new gyno believes triggered it, they estimated she's been going through menopause since she was about 38-39 and she is going to be 42 in march. the only other known family history of a full menopause is my aunt going through it entirely by age 48, everyone else in my family has gotten hysterectomies, mostly with eggs removed, so they didn't get a "natural" menopause. i don't really know how menopause works and i am not sure if i want children, but knowing my mom is peri-menopausal and only 41 is really daunting. i thought i'd have more time to make a decision. i also have had hashimoto's (only have a positive TPO test, no other elevated levels) since 19, and i am unsure of how that will contribute to my fertility in the future. i'm leaning on the no-kids side of things, but i want to have the option in the future. i have so many things i'd like to do before having kids (like medical school and residency if it's in the cards for me), so just having them young isn't my best option. if any obgyns or endocrinologists could weigh in on this issue, i would highly appreciate it. thank you!
