I don't get how to lose weight - am I on the right track?

Post Content

I was roughly 150lbs, and through calorie restriction of 1200, I managed to lose 20 lbs over two years, without any exercise, but I still have a lot of fat on me, and I want to accelerate this along with excercise. I noticed my testosterone takes a while to raise up. My question is am I underrating? My bmr is roughly 1456, and isn't that how many calories you need to function, so technically you should never eat under it? I've hit a plateau and has been stagnant in my fat loss journey. Calorie calculators online say I should be eating roughly 1750 - 2000 ish for maintenance, but this seems very wrong. I am often not hungry either. I just can't get my head around this, any help would be appreciated! \*\* I am sedentary, but I am trying to get more active. I do tend to workout 5 days a week at home using weights, but haven't in a couple days due to sickness. \*\*
