Experts on Habit Forming Make Me Feel Hopeless...

I don't know how new this information is, but it's been in my feeds for the last year or so, that ADHDers simply cannot form habits. Of course I know this to be true through my own personal experience... But hearing it stated over, and over, and over, is completely demoralizing. I think I've spent my whole life trying to establish one habit or another, and failing constantly to do it. I feel more broken hearing this information from medical professionals, than anything else I've heard. Thanks for letting me vent.
