Give me all the suggestions...

Though I have been an un-diagnosed autistic person the majority of my life, I recently decided to get an official diagnosis for adhd because I thought it would be good to have on record since I decided to have a mid life crisis and return to school for the health care program. I'm mostly inattentive. I was prescribed Vyvanse at first, but it left me feeling drained mid day and I was catching 2:30 pm naps or going cross eyed trying to drive to my evening classes. so my pcp switched me to 30 mg of adderall twice a day and I noticed a difference but I will say, it doesn't do what I was always under the assumption it did for people which was help them study and all the bs you see in movies- like yes, it makes it easier to get out of bed and start the tasks I know I need to do but I still get distracted, and I still feel like I'm losing my mind when I sit something down and then immediately forget about it and end up pacing the house looking for it while having other to get other things done, or get ready for an appointment. Mind you, I'm a 39 year old woman with children, two in school and one at home. I feel like I was not this bad prior to child #2, but wow. SO. what do you all find that helps keep you on task, outside of making lists because for me to sit down and make a list, I would have to remember all the things I need to do to put on the list but first I need to find a pen, and paper, and then my kid is asking me to make her a sandwich or watch her do this super cool trick which is really her trying to balance on one leg awkwardly, and then my dogs need to go outside, so I decided to just start to make the list on my phone instead and end up on opening up a social media app and start doom scrolling, and then I realize it's time to pick up my 8 yo from school already. And this is on days I don't have home work or class myself. Give me all the ideas to get out of this damn rut.
