PCOS and anxiety

Post Content

Hi everyone! So I was diagnosed with PCOS many years ago and they told me the only reason they found it was from my ultrasound because I didn’t really have any signs of PCOS. I was also on birth control at this time. Fast forward, I am on a progesterone only birth control now and I think I’m experiencing insulin resistance. I have had intense sugar cravings, I am always tired, even though I work out everyday and burn calories, I am gaining weight and it is around the abdomen area. The strangest thing symptom is that 15 months ago I was diagnosed with GAD (and what I believe could be OCD). I am seeing my doctor in a few weeks to get testing done and figure out options but I was wondering if anyone has experienced GAD/OCD from insulin resistance and if so, did anything help get you back to “normal”.
