Experience taking non-stimulants and stimulants?

I have been taking 30mgs Lisdexamphetamine and up to 10mgs of Dexamphetamine a day (I’m prescribed 20mgs of dexamphetamine but haven’t needed that high of a dose yet). This combination has been working super well, but due to some side effects, I’ve had it suggested to me that I try a low dose of Clonidine at night. Apparently this is a common combination for adults with ADHD, so I thought I’d see if anyone is on a similar combination of stimulants and non-stimulants, or has tried it before, and what your experiences are? I will be beginning Clonidine tonight, but I’d love some advice on what to expect. My blood pressure is normal but on the lower side, so I’ll be monitoring my blood pressure as I know that Clonidine can lower it.
