Dread shed, curly hair and consistency problem
Post Content
So I have been diagnosed with AGA last year. I went to a derm and he suggested mino (im using the foam, viviscal, iron tablets, and pumpkin seed oi)l. He also suggested a shampoo but i saw some bad reviews about it so i have been using nizoral. I can’t use these hormones that everybody uses for hair loss bcoz i have a history with breast cancer in my family. By the end of the year. I had a lot of problems in every single area of my life. I hit my lowest in terms of mental health and suffered from severe depression which made me stop taking care of myself. Recently, I have been trying to come back and was a bit consistent with applying minoxidil. I went through a new dread shedding which is expected but frustrating. I am thinking of switching to oral bcoz im afraid that I won’t be consistent. The days that I skip when I’m consistent is either when I do a blow dry or when I sleep unexpectedly without feeling myself. My routine is: I apply the foam by putting it in my fingers and I massage it through my scalp sometimes I feel that routine is horrible because it touches the hair too. I use a bonnet and I sleep while wearing it. I shower my hair twice a week. I have curly hair and when I stopped using minoxidil. I noticed my hair and pattern have been way much better. It’s really disheartening to experience the frizz as if having curly hair and maintaining is already a burden Im really sad seeing my hair falling. This condition is really harsh and made me super insecure and vulnerable. Im in my early 20s and im supposed to be at my prime. All my insecurities are due to genetics that I didn’t even want. I’m super devastated. Any tips to improve:(?
