Do I need to go to the ER tonight or can I go to doctor tomorrow? Skin infection + small fever.

I am 31F, 5’4 and 130 lbs. no underlying health issues, work out and eat healthy etc. no medications (just an IUD). I have a bump on my forehead that I initially thought was a zit but is definitely inflamed. It’s large and hot to the touch. I noticed it yesterday. Today, around 4pm, I started getting small muscle aches and feeling like I had a small fever. I have a fever of about 100. Otherwise I feel OK, feels like a tiny cold. I got antibiotics from a virtual doctor. Can I just take the antibiotics tonight and see how I feel tomorrow or do I need to go to the ER? The doctor said that they have a policy that if anyone has a wound + fever they should go to ER. It’s the middle of the night, is there any way I can just go tomorrow AM or is that stupid?
