Questions from an SSRI newbie... just started Prozac

Last year I decided to explore taking antidepressants, saw a psychiatrist, and he prescribed me Prozac. I was honestly hesitant to start because I frankly had a stigma about being on medication and was nervous for my body/brain to rely on it. After some time, I decided it's time to try it out, and it doesn't have to be a forever thing. I also think I was nervous because I've seen the media villainize SSRIs and listened to podcasts about how hard it is to get off antidepressants, how you have terrible withdrawals, etc. For context, I'm in my mid-30s. Anyways, earlier this year I decided to start. I got the meds and started on 10mg for the first week and after that, went up to 20mg which I'm taking now still. It's been about 4 weeks that I've been on 20mg. In the beginning, I felt pretty euphoric, really energized and just overall happy. Now I feel like it's maybe leveled out and I feel less anxious and depressed than I did before but not as euphoric and happy. That's probably normal though? There have been a couple nights where I've had really bad anxiety and it's kept me up all night. Occasionally I get headaches, I did more so in the beginning when I started, but they're less frequent now. I have noticed pretty extreme sexual side effects, tmi but it takes me a much longer time to orgasm and I feel like I've lost sensitivity. When I first started taking the meds, I heard it's best to stay away from alcohol. I was pretty scared to drink anything because of that but I would have 1-2 drinks very sparingly. When I did drink, it felt way less fun than it used to and I feel sometimes kinda out of it. My boyfriend and I love to make cocktails together and drink together so it's kind of a bummer that I can't indulge as much as I used to (I'll make myself a mocktail, but still). ALLL that to say, I'm curious if other people who are specifically on Prozac have experiences they're willing to share re: any side effects while on the medication (headaches, sexual, etc.) and what their experience is with drinking alcohol while on it? Do you guys also feel weird and like it affects you/inebriates you more? My psych mentioned something about getting seizures while on it which freaked me out! Do people just stop drinking while on it? Also curious about people's experiences getting off Prozac - was it bad or was it ok as long as you tapered off? If you had any sexual side effects while on it, did they go away? Thank you!
