Scared to sleep, anyone else know how to help?

Ever since I was 11, I’ve had on and off problems sleeping. Not as in I can’t sleep but as in I cannot put down what im doing to go to bed, yes I’m tired but I’m scared. I have episodes of existential dread, scared to die, scared to live, etc. I’m scared to fall down that rabbit hole so I’m usually up until 3am and wake up at 1pm. I just took 10mg of melatonin and am gonna listen to Oneyplays to sleep. I guess I’ll update tomorrow if I can remember right. If this works, then it’ll probably be a lifesaver. Wish me luck.
