Opinions on starting TRT (M35)

Post Content

Sorry, this is a repost because I put too much personal information on the last photo. I really don’t know much about the blood work or anything besides total testosterone. I have quite a few of the symptoms of low tea and was wondering what others thought of my most recent lab. A little background info the first time I tested was age 23 and my total testosterone was in the low 300s. Last year at age 34 my total testosterone was 273. Now this week at age 35, 18 months since the last test it came back as 449. Free testosterone is 8.0. This is all such a mindfuck. We have regular doctors who do not specialize in this and ignore symptoms and only care about the number. Then we have clinics where they may know a lot more but they just want to fill a prescription regardless because they’re getting $150 out-of-pocket each month from you. So hopefully someone can understand why going to the Internet for a consensus really is not the worst thing. My clinic is ready to start me on TRT anytime I say so I just wanted to feel more confident that my numbers are low enough where I’d likely benefit greatly, before a lifelong commitment. (Never experienced low sex drive or erectile issues. Quite opposite actually) (Low energy, motivation, mood, messed up sleep always for 15 years)
