Extreme anxiety (I believe due to illness)? What to do?

Post Content

So I (19F, 5’10” roughly 160 lbs) think I am sick because this started pretty suddenly a couple of days ago at night and my mom says she has the same thing. But basically I/we have been hit with this insanely intense anxiety. I’m talking debilitating, literally cannot get out of bed, cannot sleep or eat anxiety. It literally feels like I’m having a panic attack 24/7. I haven’t slept in days. I take adderall for adhd (prescribed to be clear) and it sort of feels like if I accidentally took an adderall at night, like that kind of anxiety ridden sleep deprived strung out feeling. I’ve also had a bad stomach ache due to the anxiety and had very frequent bowel movements (also a symptom of anxiety for me). I can’t relax at all. I’ve tried taking 10 mg of melatonin (which usually totally knocks me out) and it’s done nothing. I also can’t regulate my body temp at all, it’s freezing and then boiling hot. Does anyone have any advice? This is absolutely miserable. Thank you I take only propranolol for anxiety as needed (which has not helped at all) as well as Lo Loestrin for several years.
