Gut issues and hunger with my anxiety
Post Content
Does anyone else get this weird thing where they're constantly hungry and feel like their body can't fully relax? I'm at a loss on what to do. I tried therapy and I remember we did a meditation together and what came up for me was "hunger." It's some kind of physical thing, so I don't know if anxiety medications would really do anything. It's like I can't fully relax in my body and I get hungry for some kind of snack like a ripe juicy piece of fruit etc. I also struggle with bloating. I do get tension headaches at work as well so maybe anxiety medications would help with that part? I just want to feel normal in my body. Because how can you feel relaxed around people if you're thinking how hungry you are (even if you eat enough and are even bloated from food) and like you can't fully relax? Also I've gotten fasting blood work before, and my blood sugar was normal every time.
