[Routine Help] Cracking Fingertips

I need some help with a hand care routine :( My finger tips get REALLY dry and cracked when its dry and cold and I don't know how to remedy it. Like my thumbs literally split and its super annoying. I used to moisturize everyday with lubriderm, but it was too thin so I started using a thicker lotion. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! I am really self conscious about this.
